This leniency emboldens repeat offenses and fails to address underlying issues such as mental health disorders that contribute to criminal behavior. By advocating for a comprehensive review and reform of these policies, our campaign aims to ensure that justice is both fair and firm. According to these guidelines, advertisements must include information such as data rates, where to access privacy policies and terms and conditions, and instructions for consumers to receive help or stop messages altogether. CTIA guidelines are not law, but political campaigns are at risk of being shut down by wireless carriers if they don’t follow these guidelines.
